Wood River Valley Nonprofit Roundtable Discussion Series
Presented by The Argyros, Spur Community Foundation, and Dark to Light Productions
Livestreamed from The Argyros
March 3rd, 7th, and 17th at 6pm
During the month of March, Argyros Performing Arts Center, Spur Community Foundation, and Dark to Light Productions will be co-hosting a series of three community non-profit roundtable discussions. These events are an opportunity to learn more about how our non-profit community has responded to the unique challenges of the Covid-19 era, as well as what various local non-profit leaders see as the road ahead.
Each event will focus on a distinct nonprofit impact area; the Arts, Education, and Human Services. The events will be livestreamed from the stage of the Argyros Tierney Theater and will be available for the community to view for free on a variety of online video platforms. All three evenings will be moderated by Spur Community Foundation Executive Director Sally Gillespie, and will be available on YouTube and Facebook Live. Each 45-50 minute discussion will wrap up with a 10-15 minute open Q&A session.
The March 3rd event will focus on the Arts and will include panelists Kristin Poole (Artistic Director of the Sun Valley Museum of Art), Derek Dean (Executive Director of the Sun Valley Music Festival) and Casey Wilder Mott (Executive Director of The Argyros).
The March 10th event will focus on Education and will include panelists from Blaine County Education Foundation, The Space, I Have A Dream Foundation, Blaine County Recreation District, and Wood River Community YMCA.
The March 17th event will focus on Human Services and will include panelists from organization such as Blaine County Charitable Fund, The Advocates, The Senior Connection, NAMI, Crisis Hotline, The Alliance of Idaho, The Hunger Coalition and Mountain Humane.
