Baldy Bluebird Festival to benefit Blaine County Charitable Fund

The Sun Valley Resort & RJK Entertainment Present the Baldy Bluebird Festival

July 4th: Midland, Charlie Worsham, & Axel Diehl

July 5th: Grace Potter, JD Clayton, & The Pisten Bullys

When the bluebird skies are calling, and there’s music in the mountain air, meet us at River Run Plaza for two days of great music—and great vibes—in the great outdoors. Nestled between the base of our beloved Bald Mountain and the rushing Big Wood River, the Baldy Bluebird Festival will bring a full line-up of musical acts to the heart of Sun Valley Resort from July 4th - July 5th.

July 4th: Midland, Charlie Worsham, & Axel Diehl

The first evening kicks off with some classic country, southern-inspired sounds and a home-grown opening act.

  • Born and raised in Sun Valley, ID, Axel Diehl opens the Fest with music firmly planted in his roots in the heart of the American West.

  • Hailing from Mississippi, Charlie Worsham has been a mainstay in the country music scene both as a former member of Old Crow Medicine Show and as a solo performer, touring with major acts from Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert to Brad Paisley and Kenny Rodgers.

  • Midland headlines the first evening, bringing their rich sound rooted in the Country tradition to the Baldy Bluebird Festival stage. Steel guitar, thick harmonies, and a nostalgic nod to the sounds of their native Texas will light up the 4th of July festivities.

July 5th: Grace Potter, JD Clayton, & The Pisten Bullys

Baldy Bluebird continues into evening two with more soulful sounds of the West and a country-rock headliner to close out the Fest in an unforgettable fashion.

  • Local to the Ketchum, ID country music scene, The Pisten Bullys bring their lived experience in Western Idaho to life through a unique alt-country sound.

  • Arkansas-born singer/songwriter JD Clayton’s clear and simple songwriting is a testament to his experience growing up in a place where the Old South meets the New West.

  • Grammy-nominated Grace Potter will close out the Festival with a headline performance on July 5th. With her lyrical sensitivity and rockstar sensibility, Night 2 of the first annual Baldy Bluebird Festival will be one for the history books.
