Field report from Joey
Joey's on the Prowl for Families in Need "I'm not just fetching sticks — I'm fetching solutions." This scrappy office dog and his boots-on-the-ground team (mostly Maira!) have been paw-trolling the community all month, sniffing out families who need support at the Hailey Library, Hunger Coalition food distributions, Senior Connection lunches, and even making the trek to the City of Carey. Because no neighborhood is too far when you're on a mission. And the results? Let's just

Local Partnership Help Families THRIVE!
The Advocates' Thrive Kids Early Learning Center and BCCF have teamed up to put childcare assistance directly in the hands of families who need it most — no extra applications, no delays. Because Thrive Kids had already vetted qualifying families, BCCF granted funds directly to Thrive to deploy where needed. Childcare is often a family's second-biggest expense after rent, and keeping parents able to work is central to BCCF's mission. We're proud to partner with organizations

Field Report from Joey
Hi humans, Joey here. I sniffed through the 2025 Impact Report so you don’t have to (you’re welcome). Here’s what I found, pretty paw-some stuff: Helped 334 households (that’s a lot of new friends) 50% were brand new faces (I love meeting new people…especially if they have snacks) Delivered 2,700 hours of coordinated care (that’s more hours than I nap…almost) 46% avoided eviction (which means more cozy homes—very important) 6 families bought their forever homes (FOREVER homes

Volunteers: The Heartbeat of a Vibrant Community
" The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. " - Mahatma Gandhi. At BCCF, we are constantly reminded that while financial support fuels our mission, it’s the hands, hearts, and time of our volunteers that truly bring it to life. During Volunteer Appreciation Month , a simple “thank you” hardly feels like enough. When individuals step forward—not just with gifts, but with their energy, passion, and belief in our cause—they become an essential p
