"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." - Mahatma Gandhi.
At BCCF, we are constantly reminded that while financial support fuels our mission, it’s the hands, hearts, and time of our volunteers that truly bring it to life.
During Volunteer Appreciation Month, a simple “thank you” hardly feels like enough. When individuals step forward—not just with gifts, but with their energy, passion, and belief in our cause—they become an essential part of the change we strive to create.
Individuals like Penny Thayer, Daryl Fauth and Steve Thompson... they stepped up when their community needed them and helped to form the powerful offerings at BCCF six years ago. Their vision and leadership brought a critical safety net into the fabric of our beloved community. We thank them as they step down from the Board of Directors after fulfilling their terms.

From the BCCF community—thank you for being the heart of everything we do.
